About Our Team

Broxburn Blackbelt Academy is staffed by a wide variety of qualified, fully disclosed instructors. With robust first aid qualifications, my instructors provide a safe, responsible way of mastering the art of taekwondo.

Miss Redmond (Fourth Degree International Instructor and Examiner)

As the owner and primary instructor of Broxburn Blackbelt Academy, I have trained for more than 28 years. For 12 years, I have shared my vast knowledge and experience with pupils during enjoyable, effective lessons. As an international competitor from 2000-2010, I became the European Cup Champion and Vice-World Champion. With an extensive collection of other European and World Championship medals to show for my efforts, I am a true expert in my field.

Stacey McQuillan (First Degree Instructor)

Stacey has trained alongside me for more than eight years. In addition, she has taught in the academy for more than two years. With ever-growing expertise, Stacey completed a higher national diploma in sports coaching and development to ensure she has a thorough understanding of how the body works. This knowledge helps her to teach a range of different activities.
